Nurturing Young Monks Through Education and Spiritual Growth

We are happy to share that beginning this year, our young monks have started attending Bjimena School to receive formal education alongside their monastic training. This allows them to continue the same studies they were pursuing before joining the monastery, while also deepening their spiritual learning. Our aim is to nurture them with both modern education and Buddhist values so they can grow into wise, compassionate, and responsible individuals who can benefit society. We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the Ministry of Education, the Principal of Bjimena School, and all the teachers and staff for their kindness and support in allowing our young monks to study at the school. If any parents wish to send their children to join the monastic life and continue their education in a caring and disciplined environment, they are most welcome. We will guide them with sincerity, dedication, and responsibility. We promise to do our very best so that parents will never regret entrusting their children to the monastic community.

The traditions of performing Grand annual ritual of Mahakala held yearly will be starting from the 14th to 19th December for six days. This is done mainly to ensure the teaching of the Buddha flourish, spread and the lives of the great holy beings who uphold the teachings remain secure and their activities continue to flourish. Also it is mainly for our Dharma king the supreme sovereign and his retinue remain secure and that their wishes be fulfilled and in order to pacify disease, famine and conflict in the entire whole. So we would like to invite all the faithful devotes to come pray and make aspiration and earn merit for the benefit of all sentient beings.

His Eminence Jewoen Rinpoche’s Audience with His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa at Palpung Sherabling

His Eminence Jewoen Rinpoche, accompanied by a group of lay devotees from Bhutan, visited Dharamsala and was today graciously granted an audience with Guru Vajradhara His Holiness Chamgon Kenting Tai Situpa at the Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat in Himachal Pradesh. During the audience, the delegation respectfully offered a Mandala to His Holiness and, with deep devotion, requested a brief teaching. His Holiness kindly bestowed a short Dharma teaching and granted the oral transmission of the sacred mantras of Avalokiteshvara and Guru Rinpoche, to the great joy and blessing of all present.
