On the sacred and auspicious occasion of Saga Dawa, the monks of Nyidey Monastery, in collaboration with the Bjemena community, will conduct the annual recitation of The One Hundred Thousand Praises to Tara. This sacred ceremony is dedicated to the enduring flourishing of the Buddha's teachings, and to the peace, well-being, and longevity of His Majesty the King, the Royal Government, and the people of the Dharma Kingdom of Bhutan.
We also offer heartfelt prayers for the swift and successful realisation of His Majesty’s noble vision for the Gelephu Mindfulness City. In addition, we pray for the long life and profound spiritual endeavours of His Eminence Jowoen Choktrul Rinpoche and all esteemed upholders of the Buddha Dharma.
May all nations, including Bhutan, be free from illness, ignorance, and conflict and thrive in peace, harmony, and non-violence.
The recitation of The One Hundred Thousand Praises to Tara will be held from the 6th to the 15th day of the lunar month, corresponding to 28 May to 11 June 2025.
We warmly invite all devotees to join us in prayer and aspiration for the benefit of all sentient beings.
